Crown Fob Procedure
The Crown has a controlled security system in place and the following procedures ensure that all residents can have confidence that the building is secure.
The Crown has a fob policy that only Residents that have successfully completed the online Crown Induction will be issued one fob per inducted person with the FOB number registered to the inducted persons name only.
Requests for additional Fobs will need to be applied for in writing by the owner or authorised letting agent to the Crown Body Corporate Committee. All applications will be individually evaluated as not all applications will be authorised.
Owners will provide the Body Corporate Committee with written authorisation that they authorise the letting agent to act on their behalf.
The letting agent will be responsible to provide the following:
• A Copy of their letting licence.
• Copies of all current public indemnity and liability insurance policies.
• A Copy of the signed letting agreement with the tenants names listed on the agreement.
• When a company is registered on the letting agreement it will be the letting agent's responsibility to ensure all residents are listed on the letting agreement and one fob per inducted tenant with the individual fob number listed on each induction record. (If the security of the building is considered compromised by the tenants sharing fobs access may / will be withdrawn.
• All tenants with any issues regarding keys, fobs access will be directed to their letting agent to resolve the issues.
